- Mary Claire Kendall
- Mary Claire Kendall is a Washington-based journalist and screenwriter. In addition to her feature and commentary writing, she has written three original feature film screenplays, one a collaboration; two pilot sitcoms (one Washington-based, one family-centered); and a TV action drama pilot. She is also working on several books, including one that builds on her feature writing about Hollywood icons. A graduate of Wellesley College, Mary Claire served in the Presidential Administrations of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, writing speeches, assisting with policy analysis and development, and managing various projects. She is a member of The Writer's Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where she has studied screenwriting since 2001.
